Private Pilates Sessions
A private Pilates session is a personalized workout where you work one-on-one in our Pilates studio.
At your initial session Caroline will conduct a brief assessment to understand your current fitness level, any injuries, and your goals.
This allows her to tailor exercises specifically to your fitness level, goals, and any physical limitations you may have, providing focused attention on your alignment and technique throughout the session, all while addressing your unique needs and allowing you to progress at your own pace; essentially, it's a customized Pilates experience designed just for you.
Key aspects of a private Pilates session
Personalized attention:
Caroline will focus solely on you, constantly observing your form and making adjustments as needed.
Goal-oriented:
You can discuss your specific goals with Caroline, whether it's improving core strength, flexibiity, posture, recovering from an injury, or enhancing athletic performance, and the session will be designed around achieving those goals.
Detailed instruction:
Caroline will explain the mechanics of each exercise clearly, breaking down movements and providing detailed cues to help you understand proper alignment.
Flexibility in modifications:
Based on your capabilities, Caroline can modify exercises to make them easier or more challenging, ensuring you work at a suitable level.
Addressing imbalances:
Caroline can identify any muscle imbalances and incorporate exercises to specifically target those areas.
Open communication:
You can openly communicate any discomfort, concerns, or questions you have during the session.
What you need
You'll need a mat, comfortable, stretchy clothing (not too loose), and non-slip socks or bare feet. We do have some spare mats, but most clients prefer to bring their own. And bring a drink to stay hydrated
